Is it Golden??

Good noonafter all!!

Hope everyone is doing well.

So....I was riding in the car this morning listening to Chrisette Michelle's song Golden. I LOVE this song! There is so much emotion and meaning through out. But it got me to thinking... She says 'I'm so ready to love, I'm so ready to promise my all. I'm so ready to give til' the day that my life is no more. I'll be everything that this woman could possibly be Cause I'm ready to be like the olden days when commitment was golden'

I love this chorus. It is so meaningful...anyway, so like I was saying...it got me to thinking. When people (men or women)decide to embark on these feelings...have they thought about reaching towards feeling this way about their relationship with God? Seems they go hand and hand to me....

Any comments are welcome, thanks!

Be blessed!

Unfortunately, many do not. The 50% divorce rate clearly attests to this. Perhaps if people thought more about it, that number would be lower.

Ah but hope springs eternal...

Maybe bck in the day, but our generation (well MY) doesn't commit to much. Especially relationships. It's sad but true. To be in a committed healthy relationship buts you in the minority.

Not nowadays.

Intersting question. I think many of us are just too consumed with living day to day that we don't go beyond.

Sadly enough I don't think we [the people of this generation I mean] take much of anything too seriously...

Be it our health...
Our vows...
Our jobs...
Strengthening our relationship with god...

NONE OF IT and it's quite sad [REALLY].
